BACKGROUND
Silvano Grimaldi graduated in Economics from the University of St. Gallen in 1995. He began his career at a Swiss private bank in Lugano before moving to Zurich, where he held portfolio management and equity leadership positions at several Swiss financial institutions.
He later worked as an independent financial consultant and served for several years as a director responsible for portfolio management at a Zurich-based independent asset manager. Since 2012, he has worked as an independent asset manager and CEO of Grimaldi & Partners Ltd.
Silvano earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2001 and holds a qualification in Business Education from the University of St. Gallen. He regularly publishes articles on financial markets and the economy. He speaks German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
